I did what seemed like months of research on what E-Bike I should get, listened to so many people, watched way to many Youtube videos. it left me second guessing everything I thought about getting. I was in LA for work and I went down to Venice Beach to photograph some skaters at the skate bowl, and I saw this guy riding this incredible E-Bike..It was the Pedal Electric Core, I freaked..and left with lust in my heart... I looked up Pedal Electric and was sold instantly!!! It ticked all the boxes and then some that I did not even know I needed.. I am beyond impressed with the quality and build of my AWD (s) I wish I could afford all the accessories. I live in a tiny Indiana town and I take this bike everywhere, it is incredible for day to day commutes and country road rides, it is not just a Cali bike but shows love to small town Indiana too..

It's smaller than my other ebike, so fairly nimble. Seems to invite getting on and heading out for errands or just riding. I set the max speed to 28 mph so can at least claim Class 3 compliance. Mostly use the rear motor only which provides more than sufficient speed on level ground.

I have a reasonably steep "test hill" nearby by. With both motors, the AWD had no problem getting up it at 24 mph.

I intend taking it on forest service roads, but haven't done so yet.

Due to the limited distance between the seat and pedals, I (6'0" 33" inseam) can't really effectively pedal the bike hard, but knew this in advance. Still, the derailleur provides a nice range of gearing.
