PEDAL Electric Bike Return Policy

Bike Returns

  • Return Window: Returns are not accepted more than 7 days after delivery.

  • Eligibility: The bike must be unused, free from dirt, dust, or any fragrances, and in its original packaging and condition.

  • Assembled Bikes: Bikes that have been assembled are not eligible for return.

  • Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping fees, which will be deducted from the refund.

Orders Purchased but Not Shipped

  • Cancellation Fee: A 12% administration fee applies to all in-stock items that are canceled before shipping. 5% administration fee applies to pre-orders items.

  • Notification: To request a cancellation, please contact us as early as possible at hello@pedalelectric.com.

Accessory & Replacement Part Returns

  • Return Window: Returns are not accepted more than 7 days after delivery.

  • Eligibility: The item must be unused.

  • Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee applies.

  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for shipping costs both ways.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Batteries

  • Bundles

  • Special orders

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Gifted orders

  • Open-box sales

Return Process

Before Returning an Item

  • Written Approval Required: Customers must obtain written approval from PEDAL Electric before sending a return. Unauthorized returns will not be refunded and may require the customer to cover shipping fees for the item’s return.

  • Tracking Information: Once a return is shipped, please email hello@pedalelectric.com with the tracking number to confirm the return.

Return Inspection & Refund

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email confirmation regarding its approval or rejection.

  • If approved, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.

  • If there are no manufacturing defects, the 20% restocking fee and shipping fees (both ways) will be deducted from the refund for PEDAL bike orders.

  • Refund processing times vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund as expected:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card company, as processing times may vary.

  3. If the refund is still missing, email us at hello@pedalelectric.com for assistance.

Important Notes

  • Items purchased during special sales (e.g., Black Friday or Christmas sales) cannot be canceled.

  • Customers returning items valued over $75 are strongly encouraged to use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance to ensure the package arrives safely. PEDAL Electric is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.

3RD PARTY ACCESSORIES

If you've purchased an accessory that is fulfilled and shipped directly from the supplier, please note that their return and refund policies may differ from PEDAL Electric. Refer to the brand information below for guidance on initiating a return with these partners.

Thousand Helmets Return Policy:

Thousand provides a 30-day return/exchange policy. To start a return or exchange, visit the Thousand Returns Center and enter your order number and zip code from your packing slip. If you encounter any issues, you can email Thousand at customercare@explorethousand.com. Once your return is received at the Thousand warehouse, your refund will be processed within 7 business days.

Daytona Helmets Return Policy:

Daytona provides a 30-day return/exchange policy. To start a return or exchange, you must first obtain an RA# please contact us at hello@pedalelectric.com to assist you in the process. 

Earth+Kin Return Policy:

If you need to return your earth+kin MULE or accessories, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to initiate a return. Ensure all items are unused and in their original packaging. To start the process, contact us at hello@earth-kin.com with your receipt or proof of purchase. We will provide a return shipping label and detailed instructions on how to send your package back. Please note that a $50 fee for returning the MULE and a $10 fee for other accessories will be deducted from your refund to cover return shipping costs. After we receive and inspect the returned items, we will notify you of the refund approval status. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Moved By Bikes Return Policy:

If you are uncertain about how a rack will fit on your bike, please reach out to customer service at info@movedbybikes.com. They can provide guidance on fitment and carrying capacity for your specific needs. Moved By Bikes offers returns on surf racks within 30 days of purchase. To initiate a return, email info@movedbybikes.com with your order details. Please confirm your order details and please note that all components must be included for the return to be eligible for credit, and return shipping costs are not covered.

MotoTote Return Policy:

MotoTote offers a 15-day return policy from the delivery date. To initiate a return, please contact MotoTote customer service by entering your order number & ZIP here: https://mototote.com/pages/shipping-returns. Return shipping charges will apply. Additional charges may apply for items that are damaged, used, or missing parts. Once the returned merchandise is received, your refund will be processed.

Speaqua Return Policy:

Speaqua offers a 12-month limited warranty. If you experience an issue with your product within this period, please email CustomerSupport@speaqua.com with your Pedal Electric order confirmation. Speaqua will determine whether to repair, replace, or refund the item at their discretion. Please note, misuse or damage due to negligence is not covered under this warranty. Return shipping to Speaqua is the customer’s responsibility; Speaqua will cover the return shipping after service. Orders shipped internationally are also eligible, but customers are responsible for all shipping costs.
